Take the pressure off.

Can you take the pressure off yourself in class? To pressure to do, the pressure to force, the pressure to perform. Feel it roll off your shoulders and drop onto your mat like a weight you no longer have to carry.

Yoga never asks that you are perfect. Of course, there is no such thing in yoga. Instead all that yoga asks is you show up.

Sometimes we can put the pressure on ourselves. We might look around and compare ourselves to others in class or even to a former version of ourselves. But again all that yoga asks us is to be here. To be present.

The version of you that exists now is always enough. So try to take the pressure off yourself in class. Let it go and be as you are now. Perfectly imperfect.
