The best time to start is now.

The best time to start was yesterday. The next best time to start is NOW.

Has your movement routine been on the back burner this year? Sometimes in the busyness of life that can happen and our routines ebb and flow.

The good news is you can start again. Movement is one thing you can do that positively impacts so many other areas of your life- your strength, mobility, sleep, focus, mentality clarity, mood, and so much more!

You don’t have to do it all at once and you don’t have to wait until things “slow down” or life gets less busy to start. Otherwise you might be waiting forever.

What’s a small way you could move more each day? Could you take a 10 minute walk down the street? Could you do some squats while you wait for the kettle to boil? Could you carve out time one day a week to come to class? I am always here to chat and help you problem-solve!

Often you might feel like you don’t have the energy to move. It’s hard to wake up early, especially as the colder months approach. Or you might feel so tired by the end of the day, all you feel like doing is sitting on the couch and scrolling on your phone. Here’s the thing though- moving will actually give you more energy. Seriously! Moving at the start of the day is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It can help you to wake up, feel more energized and focused for the rest of the day.

And I guarantee you will feel better in both mind in body if you spend 30-60 minutes moving at the end of the day instead of scrolling on your phone. I get it, by the end of the week I am tired too. Here’s the thing though, every Thursday after teaching my Pilates Express class, I feel 100% better, so much better than if I had just sat on the couch like I wanted to!

Let’s get moving more and feeling better!
